Description:
The Member Services and Event Planner is responsible for the logistics, coordination and on-time delivery of services, schools and events. Success for this role is defined by the organized, on-budget and on-time planning, coordination and delivery of all pieces and people comprising the event or program. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional customer service. It is also important for the Member Services and Event Planner to clearly support the training staff of our events and schools.

Specific Responsibilities are as follows:

Logistics
1.) Proofing materials prior to printing. Accuracy is key.
2.) Delivering materials to printer on time
3.) Maintaining accurate event rosters
4.) Maintaining CRM and etouches (event software) event records
5.) Managing budgets: delivering the best for the best price
6.) Advance planning and development of timelines
7.) Delivery of pertinent information to all trainers/speakers on time
8.) Developing and maintaining complete material lists, shipping lists

Trainer Support
1.) Insure the smooth delivery and operation of our services and events.
2.) Creating and maintain calendar of events and trainer scheduling
3.) Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management
4.) Timely compilation of evaluations and trainer compensation

Benchmarks
1.) Achieve attendance goals for each scheduled event
2.) Maintain school ratings of 4.60 or greater on a 5 point scale
3.) Maintain event ratings of 4.50 or greater on a 5 point scale
4.) Maintain gross margins for schools at 33%

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years experience in the field of event planning or related area (such as the hospitality industry). Knowledge of residential service industry (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) a plus. Qualified candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree in related area. Bachelor’s degree a plus.
